I have a lot of blogs. While I cover many different topics, I’m finding that I post only 1-2 times a week on some of my blogs. I think I’d like to get back to more regular blogging on a few of my blogs, rather than being spread out. It made sense at the time, but for now, with other projects on my plate, I’d like to consolidate things a bit.
I have a travel section on one of my blogs, and that’s where I’ll be continuing my travel posts. I’ve got quite a few trips planned this year in April, June, July and September. I’ll be recounting my experiences along with pictures over on my main blog at Surviving NJ.
I may start to reblog here again a little later, but at this time, it’s just not a benefit to me to be so spread out.
Thanks for reading, and I hope to see you over on my main blog.
This blog is going into hibernation mode for a little while.

I was just speaking with some friends about my camera. I love my camera, and it does most everything I need it to. There are two downfalls to it… 1)after snapping a picture with flash, takes awhile to prepare for another 2) it’s older and a 4 megapixel camera. (older, like 2 years)
Here’s where the problem comes in. When I’m just snapping happy, fun pictures for my blog, it’s not really an issue, but when I want to crop or shrink a photo, I’m losing clarity. I need a higher megapixel. It became clear to me when I snapped a few pictures of hotels for one of my websites, and when I shrunk them down in size, they changed in appearance. The sharp focus was no longer there.
When you have a camera that does pretty much all you need, there’s not usually a reason to replace it. On the other hand, since I want better quality photos and crisp shots on my websites, I think the time has come to upgrade.
I’ll be saving my Nikon Coolpix for a backup camera, since it’s a handy one and I enjoy the ease of use, but it looks like I’m heading for a Cannon Powershot soon, with a 7.1 megapixel, and 4x zoom range.
I’ll be sure to let you know what I end up doing, since I’m not in a hurry. I am considering it at this point, but it’s not a priority.

I don’t know if you’ve read my post about my personal travel fears…along with fear in general. If you haven’t, you can find it here. Basically, it’s been a few years since I’ve flown. In fact, I haven’t flown since…well, a particular incident in general.
I’m finally going to face that fear and put it to rest. I used to love to fly. I loved looking out the window and seeing everything so small below. I loved going through clouds only to sit above them. I’ve flown plenty of times, but not recently.
I decided this year had to be the year. I was determined to get over it once and for all, since it had sidelined me on more than one occasion.
So…I’ll be flying to Florida, and looking forward to finally punch this fear smack dab in the face. Take that…I’m facing my fear. It’s time for me to put this irrational nonsense to bed, and be done with it.

I’ll get to scratch that travel itch, as I’m booked to hit Florida in April. Ooooh, that feels good. Can’t wait for a little extra sunshine and warmth. Shopping, sunning and swimming….life is good.

It looks as though my sister and I will be traveling to Florida in April. It’s not set in stone yet, but plans are under way, and this week I’ll be hammering out details. We’re just waiting on some small details to make sure the weekend we’re looking at is going to be open.
We’re looking at a 3 night/4 day mini-spring trip to recharge the batteries. It looks like we have the all clear, and both are husband’s are fine with the trip. That’s always a good sign!
I’m going to have so much fun looking at different options.

I’ve been busy working on a couple websites, and I’m having a hard time keeping my focus. I keep thinking I want to go somewhere to relax. I’m going to check out some last minute vacation deals and see about taking a short trip. With some extra stress my sister’s been having, now would be a good time. Worst case scenario, I stay closer to home, but I’d like to go somewhere warm. My brain is focused on Florida or the Caribbean at this point.
I’m building an Orlando site too, so that doesn’t help matters. When I’m writing about the area, it just makes me want to go there!

If you see my posts talking about sandy beaches anywhere other than Travel.TwoDogZoo.com you’re reading stolen copyrighted material.
Take for example the website:
worldwideluxurybeachvacationhomes.com/
They have three PAGES of my copyrighted articles without permission. They are also posting MY picture without my permission. So slick there, pulls my info, and puts in on their site. Nice…
Anyway, I’ve contacted their company, and hope to see it pulled shortly.

I’m over the moon with excitement. I just found out that this September, I’m going to get the chance to get together with a group of friends. I can’t wait! There’s a get together I missed in Vegas last year due to a vacation, and this year, the timing falls exactly when I’ll be on vacation again….only this year, I’ll be on vacation where the get together is! I’ll be 20 minutes away!!!! How is that for timing.
So, so, so happy to see this group of friends all together. Woohoooo!

You may have wondered if I went off somewhere, since there was a break in writing! Nope, I didn’t get to take a spring fling. I’ve been busy at work building a couple of websites. Two of those sites are based around travel. I’ll give you a peak at one of them, “Long Beach Island Summers” which is an “all things Long Beach Island” kind of useful guide.
When I started building this site and the others, I got very involved, and found myself working 10 hour stretches to get a lot accomplished. While lack of focus chases me some days, these last two weeks I’ve been in the zone. I’m also in the middle of an Orlando site.
Now that I have the basics done on each, I’ll have a little more free time, and more to say!

I want to go somewhere warm. I want to go there now.
It’s not in my budget, so I won’t be going. I’m itching for spring in such a big way, and all I can think of is hopping a plane south to a warmer place. I guess I could do it, but I all ready have so many plans this year, that I really don’t want to add another expense. This “bug” will stop bothering me soon enough. I just have the itch to travel for a few days. A 3 day jaunt to lay on a beach, and just rejuvenate.
Sigh, reality is in my sights, and I have to wait.
