It just started if you are interested in this topic. It’s one that I have curiosity on, though I’m not sure what I believe. Coincidentally, I just turned on Oprah, and it was on. Hurry, and you can see it too!
Ironically, someone I know just had a past life reading. I’m not sure if I’m going to do one or not, but after watching this show, I may have to schedule an appointment. Fascinating stuff!!
Do you believe in past lives? I’m open to all things, but I’m still not sure about this one….

I was surfing along the internet one day, and saw that Oprah was giving away ebook copies of Suze Orman’s book “Women and Money”. I hopped on over to pick up a copy, and the offer was over. One of Oprah’s comments I read made me want to look into this book a little more. She mentioned it was a book that every woman should read. I decided to go over to Amazon and read the reviews.
There were a ton of them, and they praised the book greatly. I decided to buy a copy and read it this past week. It was an easy read, almost novel like, and offered excellent information. I love how she didn’t talk down to you, but brought it to a level and with language that helped you understand a language you may not have been familiar with.
I’ll be honest, my husband’s the money guy. He’s a finance guy, so he “gets” that kind of stuff. Me on the other hand, give me some weekend cash, a credit card when I travel, and point me in the general direction of what needs to be done. I’m a happy camper, but honestly, I’m lost when it comes to stocks, Money Market Accounts, IRAs and the sort.
Suze did an excellent job of making me understand not only what all these things are, why I need to know them, but also helped me want to know more.
It was definitely a great read, and one I’d recommend to women everywhere. It’s not your regular, textbook boring finance book, this is a good read, and you learn. What more could you want?

If you watched Oprah today, you were treated to a party of a time as the cast of “Hairspray” came for a visit. The movie will be released in July, and Oprah couldn’t stop raving about how much she loved it. John Travolta was on, and he played the part of Edna. The role is traditionally played by a man, and Edna is Tracy’s mother.
Michelle Pfieffer was on, and while she looked fabulous, I noticed she didn’t seem comfortable speaking so much when she was being interviewed. A lot of hemming and hawing, and I wonder if she’s a little shy in that aspect.
Queen Latifah, fabulous as always to see her. She has such a vibrancy about her!
The lead of Tracy, a girl named Nikki played her, and she is adorable! She was found after a nationwide talent competition took place. She used to work in an ice cream store, so this is a huge change for her. How did she treat herself when the movie wrapped? She bought herself a new bed!
I can’t wait to see this movie in theaters!

I loved the concept of showing us how things work. It seems so simple, yet is so complex. We sort of know how things work, but thanks to the gentleman on Oprah today, we know exactly how things are working via email, television and more. Thx!
