People Magazine has reported that Jamie Lynn Spears has given birth to a daughter. The name listed is Maddie Briann. Congratuations to Jamie Lynn and Casey on the birth of their daughter.
I was sitting watching a gossip show on television, and something hit me…what makes a celebrity. Sure when people report about someone we’re pretty familiar with in movies and TV, we think celebrity.
What about others? They are famous because they’re attached to other famous people. Remember Kato Kailin? Yeah, and how about Howard Stern (lawyer) who isn’t a celebrity, but now is famous and they report on him too.
Anyway, I honestly could care less than Hulk Hogan’s wife is dating a 19 year old. I could care less about her….when did she become a celebrity? Oh, some reality show, right? Her daughter, singing or something or other….her son, accident, problems, jail, etc….Hulk (Terry)…it’s a family deal, the entire clan has to be famous?
SO there I sat, and went…..what exactly makes a celebrity? Why do we even care what this chick is doing? I guess somebody somewhere does….it’s just not me.
The Ed McMahon thing….get a smaller house? Okay, maybe that’s harsh, but I hardly feel sorry for celebrities who have more than most, than pout when things go astray. If you had a lot, invest, do whatever…but you want me to feel sorry for you?
I have friends who struggle day to day to feed their families, pay their rent and pay $4 for a gallon of gas. Am I going to cry for someone about to lose their mansion? Go rent an apartment buddy, downsize, sell a car, whatevah….
There are starving children, underpaid police officers, towns buried under water after storms, tornadoes ripping through towns leaving havoc. People are left without their homes, that may be a trailer, and it’s all they had….and we’re supposed to feel sadness about your expensive millions of dollars mansion? Eh, get another audience.
I was out and about this past week, talking about one of my websites. Wouldn’t you know it, I realized I didn’t have a business card! How crazy is that? I have business cards for everything, but not for this site. Here I was, chattering with a business owner about this very site that I’ve mentioned his business on, and I have to jot it down on a napkin; not cool.
I have business cards for websites, business cards from when I was doing skin care and nails, and working at a spa. I have business cards for my book that I’ve written, but here I was empty handed! You know what that means? I’ll be heading to VistaPrint this week to make up some business cards. I get all my cards through them. I love the quality of work, along with the variety, and their great prices. I’ve even gotten promotion postcards made through them as well! I used those to send to schools helping to promote my book.

What do you need printed? Man, I felt so silly with a pen and a napkin saying, yes I represent this website, and oops, no card to hand you. Not the impression I’d hoped to give! Luckily, he’d actually seen the site, and he knew it was good work! I never even thought of getting these made up. Even if I get a box full, and only need 4 or 5, you know what, the impression it gives is one of a professional, and I’ll take that any day over looking like I don’t know what I’m doing!
There’s speculation that Angie has given birth, but Brad’s camp is saying no…not yet.
The news leaks eventually, and pics will be worth big money. Last time they raised money for charity with baby pics. I expect the same thing…money for first pics, large amounts to be donated to one of their charities.
If she did give birth, I hope the babies and Angie are doing well.
I was reading a news story tonight about cops looking for some bandits. They chose of all things thongs to use for masks. Guys….not much material there to cover you up. These idiots were fully exposed, eyes and hair, tattoos, the works. I guess their brilliance was cover their mouth, and nobody will recognize us? I saw the picture of the crime scene and burst out laughing at their lame masks.
Shouldn’t take too long for the cops to catch up with these pantie wastes…haha, yes, I went there.

Dunkin Donuts pulled an internet ad, because someone complained. It seemed the scarf Rachel was wearing, a black and white scarf represented something to someone, and they were offended. Listen…if I wear pink, maybe I like pink. It doesn’t have to mean I’m wearing it because of breast cancer. If I wear a black and white scarf, maybe I just like the scarf…I’m not suddenly supporting bad things in other countries. If I wear red, it’s not because I’m shouting out about heart health. I just like the damn color.
JUST BECAUSE somebody chooses a color to represent their thing, doesn’t mean it means that to EVERYONE in the country. Seriously, it’s getting out of hand, and this politically correct, oops, she was seen wearing this color, or this style of scarf, or this hat, doesn’t mean you’re standing behind whatever organization happens to be using that color at this moment.
It frustrates me that people read into EVERYTHING..it’s like their purpose…how can I point out what YOU’RE doing wrong? Ugh…just enough all ready. She was wearing a scarf, she wasn’t sending out vibes to people…get over it. Find better ways to use your time.

Jessica Alba, once declared the sexiest woman alive by FHM magazine married her beau of 3 years Cash Warren. They are expecting a child together shortly.
Jessica Alba has been at the top of a lot of “beauty” lists, while most of her films aren’t tops. While she’s in the “Fantastic Four” films and “Sin City”, many of her films are more forgettable, like “Good Luck Chuck”.
Her television series “Dark Angel” brought her into people’s home, and her stunning good looks kept her front and center.
I guess they’ll be picking out baby furniture and any other furniture they need to make their house a home like coffee tables, a dining room table, rocking chairs and more. Of course, these days most people seem to live together first, so they may all ready have a house full of furniture.

Now that Ashley and Pete are married, it’s time to pick out the china pattern, sinks, and all the other stuff that goes with newlywed stuff. Of course, there are murmurs that she’s pregnant as well, so they may be filling out a baby registry for baby stuff too.
What do you think? Do you think they married due to a pregnancy, or it was headed that way, so they finally just tied the knot? I guess we’ll know soon enough if she starts showing from a pregnancy!

Lindsay Lohan is in the news again, and this time it isn’t about going to drug rehab. She’s got one good thing going on, and one not so good thing going on.
Firstly, she’ll be appearing on Ugly Betty in the final episode. She may be on a couple of episodes, so look for her in the fall for a few episodes.
Secondly, LiLo was seen wearing one coat into a club, but wearing another fur coat out of the club. One woman is saying it was her coat and it was “lifted”, though she’s being “polite” about how she says it. It was returned to her through Lindsay’s PR people a day or two later, but not after being photographed on the star on two separate occasions.
