Two Dog Zoo

You may have thought with all the East Coast traveling I’ve been doing, I’d have stopped in the Outer Banks, but I didn’t have time. I took the auto train down to Orlando, then drove up the coast stopping in Myrtle Beach for a full week. We then drove from South Carolina to New Jersey with a few small pit stops. If I had time to stop in Outer Banks, I would have happily done it.

I’ve been there before and it’s a nice place. My aunt used to have a place in Duck, and I’ve vacationed in the area on more than one occasion. This time though, we were trying something new.

I’ll tell you one thing, I’m looking forward to the 2 hour flight next time I visit Orlando in September! It’s a long haul when you’re driving (which we did coming back north), and even the train takes 17 hours which we took south!

Maybe we’ll hit North Carolina for a vacation next time. I did get a visit from a North Carolina friend while in South Carolina, and that was awesome.
