Monday Idol Thoughts
That’s right, I’m going to do a few predictions before it even airs! What is this some kind of voodoo magic? LOL
Nah, just was thinking about it today, so I thought I’d share some of those thoughts…
Carly is my favorite contestant right now. David Arguletta (sp?) and Chikezie are my other favorites.
My husband is digging Ramiele, and while she has a fabulous voice, she isn’t choosing the right songs to showcase it.
He likes David Cook, but this guy does nothing for me. Michael Johns seems a popular choice, but again, to me he’s forgettable. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a good looking guy, but I don’t see “it” factor with this guy.
Others fall in line, and while they can sing, and give good performances, I don’t see myself talking about them. Syesha can SING, what a voice, but she doesn’t spark for me.
Kristi keeps hanging on by a thread, but she’s eventually going to be cut. Shame, because her “Amazing Grace” in audition was fabulous, but once she gets up there, she seems robotic, or over the top. She can’t find her groove, and she screams out boring. The camera loves her though.
Brooke White is another that just doesn’t have the “it” factor. She screams 70’s to me, and isn’t fresh. Sure she’s a sweet girl, but this is a singing competition.
I like Jason, and he’s got a simple, unique vibe that works. Is he the best singer? No…is he fun to watch, yes. I’m hoping he sticks around a few more weeks, because we like watching him perform. He won’t win, but he brings personality. He’s expressive when he sings, and emotes well.
In it to win it? Carly, Chikezie, and of course David A.
