Drillbit Taylor Review

posted in Movies, Two Dog Zoo |

Drillbit Taylor is a simple, fun movie. Don’t ask it to be more than that, and you’ll end up having a good time. If you go in looking for some over the top zany, crazy movie, you’ll be disappointed. If you go in hoping to be entertained, laugh and have a good afternoon, then you’ll come out with a smile.

Both my 13yo and myself (Mom) walked out with grins and laughing about a couple of the scenes. Oh, I liked it when this happened, or I liked this part. That’s a good sign!

Drillbit Taylor would love to live in a Branson condo, or even move to the great white north known as Canada. Will he get there? You see, Drillbit is a homeless guy who’s down on his luck. He finally picks up a gig working for 3 young high school boys as their bodyguard. What ensues is fun, heartwarming, heartbreaking, and silly. It’s the kind of movie if you don’t ask for too much, it over delivers. It’s got heart, and a story. It’s got laughs and moments that put a big smile on your face.

This one is worth the time if you’re looking for a simple, fun movie. You won’t be laughing until your sides hurt, but you’ll be grinning through the entire thing.
