We went to see “Fool’s Gold” this weekend. Let me just say flat out, it got crappy reviews. We knew that going in. Know what? We liked it…both of us.

It was fun, entertaining, and kept moving. Matthew and Kate have an easy connection, and an effortless charm together. We left wondering why they bashed this movie, because to be honest, it was a really cute movie.

The action and storyline kept you going, and aside from the two cheesy characters that Donald Sutherland and his on screen daughter played, it was a blast. Hubby liked Donald Sutherland in this role, while I felt he came off lifeless and bland. Of course, he’s supposed to, so I guess it was okay.

Either way, if you’re looking for something fun to see, “Fool’s Gold” got two thumbs up from us.

    I saw Fool’s Gold as well. It wasn’t that bad, but I like Kate and Matthew in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days better :)

    I’ll take your word for it. It’s not showing here until the 2nd week of March. Matthew and Kate have really good chemistry even way back with “how to lose a guy in 10 days”. Can’t wait to watch this one.

    I think Matt and Kate are great in movies together. I also thought they would be great together off screen but I guess that wont be happening if he has a baby on the way!
