War of the Worlds Review
I finally got around to watching “War of the Worlds” last night. It was a good movie, though I wouldn’t classify it as great. For me, someone who doesn’t like creepy stuff, I was on the edge of my seat the entire 2 hours. My husband didn’t have the same reaction, but it played on my fears big time!
When I told my son I saw it and it scared me, he called me a wimp. Yes, that’s right, I’m a wimp when it comes to these kinds of movies. I thought I was getting an action movie, but what I got was freaked out!
The movie starts quickly and doesn’t take long to get you excited. Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning, along with Justin Chatwin did a great job. This Steven Spielberg movie left me quaking in my boots. It was fast paced and kept me engaged the entire movie. The parent in me ached for the little girl Rachel.
All in all, we were satisfied with the movie, and I’d give it a 7 out of 10. Action, suspense, drama, and more…
