Mr Woodcock

We were watching Mr Woodcock the other day on “On Demand”. While I wouldn’t say it was a riot and hysterical, I enjoyed the movie. I think it’s because I enjoy the actors and actress who was in the movie. Susan Sarandon, Billy Bob Thorton, and Seann William Scott and Ethan Suplee were all key players. We laughed in a few spots, I cringed in a few others, but everyone gave a good performance. There was a scene at the end that had me in tears laughing.

Overall, I’d only give this movie a 5 out or 10, I’m glad I watched it. I’ll tell you why…I found out that once again, Billy Bob Thorton played a character to the core. I just never think of him as something that I want to see in a movie. Yet, every time, I’m proven wrong. Monster Ball, he was incredible, Bad Santa, he was hillarious…and well, as Mr Woodcock, I couldn’t imagine anybody else playing the character.

I’ve realized that he’s another player that I do want to see in movies, because he truly becomes the character.
