Watching The Ball Drop on New Year’s Eve
Make sure all your cables are plugged in properly, because it will be time to count down and watch the ball drop on New Year’s Eve tomorrow! You may prefer to celebrate out or at a party, but I prefer a quiet night at home. We usually go out for an early dinner or movie, and then get off the road.
I’ve been watching the ball drop in Time Square since I was a little girl, and it just seems to be a tradition that I’ve followed for a long time. I like to be off the road to avoid all those party people who are driving, even after they’ve been drinking too much. I’m just not interested in taking chances that night.
Speaking of cables being plugged in, we need to get our living room tv and digital box fixed. Luckily, we do most of our tv watching in the family room. I keep forgetting, since we don’t use this tv too often.
