Donkey Who?

Donkey Who?

posted in Games, Two Dog Zoo |

Remember Donkey Kong? My son got a cool Christmas present from his Dad this year. His father gave him an old classic Donkey Kong arcade game. Yes, the big old kind we used to play as kids! What’s really cool is that it’s been signed by the world champion Billy Mitchell, and it’s appeared on “The Today Show”, so he’s all kinds of excited over his new game.

He picked this out, but his dad threw him off by saying somebody from NY all ready bought the game. It worked, because my son was over the moon excited when he got it. He’s big into video games and has almost all the systems. He wants to design games when he’s older. He also has an admiration and enjoyment for the classic style games.

In November, I took him to Disney Quest which was cool for him, since it’s 5 floors of arcades and games in Walt Disney World. I’m so happy for him, because I know how much he wanted this one particular machine.

That is absolutely cool… I remember signing that in New York. Abner Ashman was there also, a friend who has the World Record on Ms. Pac-man… Remember…

Sounds exactly like me when I was younger. I even wanted to be a gaming designer.

    Awesome treat he got there.
