Were You Surprised?

Jamie Lynn Spears pregnancy has rocked the media world. Mom’s book was pulled, Brit isn’t the only one in the spotlight, and Disney is beside themselves. So far on the Nickelodeon site, they’ve left things in tact. I heard they’ll be airing a pregnancy special, and they’re determining what will be best for the Zoey character on the show. I’m sure she’ll be leaving it soon enough. How does Disney promote a pregnant teen to the pre-teen crowd watching it?

Were you shocked? Did you think she was a more straight and narrow Spears, or did you just think it was a matter of time?

Will Lindsay’s little sister follow in her footsteps? When the girls are young, it’s a different thing. 13 and 14 are a different place mentally than 16 and 17.

    Let me get this straight. A publisher paid Britney and Jamie Spears’ mother money to write a book on…..parenting? Even before the unfortunate pregnancy of her younger daughter (and anyone with daughters knows that’s just not something you chide anyone else about until your youngest daughter is post-menopausal) what in the world would qualify that trailer-park breeder to read a book on parenting, much less to write one on the subject?

    What’s next? “Healthy-mind, Healthy body” by Barry Bonds? “Driving for Dummies” by Teddy Kennedy? “Investing In Cattle Futures and Rural Land Development” by Hillary Clinton? “Hair Care on a Budget” by John Edwards?
