U2’s Bono Awarded
“Her Majesty the Queen has appointed Bono to be an honorary Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire in recognition of his services to the music industry and for his humanitarian work.”
U2’s Bono was awarded based on his humanitarian work. The full story can be found at E! News. It comes as no surprise as he has a long list of awards and is one of the more vocal famed voices that work to help end hunger, suffering and those in need.
