Omni-Peace, Trying To Make a Difference
You may start noticing celebrities wearing a shirt that has a combination picture of Africa and a Peace Sign made with a hand. Omni-Peace.com is a site that sells shirts and merchandise that helps raise money to end poverty. They are combining with Millennium Promise hoping to make a difference. What I ask of you is to scroll down the page at Omni-Peace.com, and you’ll see a picture of Angelina Jolie. Click on her picture, which will load a small video that runs about 12+ minutes. It takes you to different towns in Africa speaking of extreme poverty and conditions. Learn about $7 mosquito nets, and how a hospital doesn’t have running water. I love Angelina Jolie and that she uses her voice to bring these things to light. If you’ve not read her “Notes from My Travels” it is an amazing book, and enlightens you to things you may not be aware of.
